his time here was short
Today, 8/7/2008, was the the most difficult day of our lives. We had to say good bye to our son, Michael Matthew Barnett. He was born at only 15 weeks old, but was able to live (which is unheard of) for 30 minutes after he arrived in this world. Our priest was able to be there, console us, and anoint Kristi before the birth. Then we were blessed enough for Father to be able to baptize Michael right after he was born, heart still beating! Our families were there for love and support.
I’m taking some time off from IU and iBarnett to be with my family and try to grieve the best way I know how. Continue to pray for us and Michael. He’s in heaven, having a great time!
