promising news
Well, after we switched to a much better practice of doctors, we have some promising news. They do see this as a risky pregnancy, but have seen this situation many times and are currently assisting a woman in a similar situation. They are very confident in their answers, answer us direct and truthful. We were very relieved to meet with them. Kristi worked for them back in ’97 when they were first starting their practice. Kristi is still on modified bed-rest right now for at least the next 2-4 weeks, then we’ll have more blood tests, ultrasounds, etc to determine where we stand then.
The only down-side to this is that they are considered “out of network” for our insurance. But, I think it is worth it to pay the extra amount to have good doctors. The rest of the O.B.s in bloomington, well, just aren’t up to par with these doctors!
Anyway, some promising news and though they say at this point, they can’t say 100% success with the pregnancy, but they do feel confident in their “treament” and the problem we are facing is something they’ve faced before with many successes.
Thank you all for your prayers, and we shall continue to pray thanks giving and pray for more help as the weeks and months go on!
– may the phat be with you all –
