Bradley’s first IU Basketball game!

December 29th, 2008

It wasn’t the best game in the world for the Hoosiers, but Bradley was able to see them dominate for part of the game and go up by 21 points! But, as you all know, IU is in a rebuilding phase after that jackass Sampson screwed everything up. So, IU ended up losing the lead and losing the game. Brad was good and pissed about it, which, as a Dad, makes me feel good to see he’s pasionate about IU Basketball!! We later went down to the court and took some pictures. Below is a picture of him standing near one of the baskets.

IU lost, but the night was still fun! Bradley had a good hotdog and a collector’s cup coke! Jon and Grant (our God family) also attended with us and had a ton of fun!

beware of this Dodger!

April 22nd, 2008
Bradley the DodgerDon’t mess with this Dodger from RBBYS League in Ellettsville Indiana! Opening night is Friday, 4/25 and his first game day is Saturday 4/26 with a double header!!

Right now Bradley plays center field and sometimes shortstop. He strives to be a pitcher, but we’ll need to work on his strength. He’s still pretty young for a pitcher in his new league.

Go Dodgers (of RBBYS not the MLB ones)!!!

awesome weekend, but sore

April 21st, 2008

Ok all. I am so out of shape it isn’t funny. I had a great weekend, and yesterday was nice with the kids. We went fishing, caught a bass and played with the dogs at the dog park. Then, we went to the store to use our saved rice-bowl money to buy food for a donation at our church. After that we went to the baseball fields to practice and play baseball with Maddy and Bradley. Dinner was consumed at Cracker Barrel where I proceded to eat way too much greasy stuff. Then back home to push Gabby on her new swing and play basketball with Bradley and Gabby! At night, Kristi and I watched “We Are Marshall” which is a very good movie, plus, I love Matthew McConaughey.

So, this leads me to today. Monday morning. Well, apparently my sluggish, old man body couldn’t take the fishing, basketball and baseball yesterday so now I sit here at work hoping not to have to move too much. Anyway, enjoy the pics below, and may the phat be with you all.

slowin’ it down

March 14th, 2008

iBarnett will be “slowing down” this weekend until Tuesday, 3/18. I need some much-needed rest and family time. I think I’ll just veg-out on the couch a bit, watch the IU game, play with the kids and wife, and maybe get to bed before 2:00am!!

I do plan on catching up on my Podcasts (been getting into iPadre.net) Kind of wish I had the 16GB iPhone now. All my TV Shows and Podcasts are filling up my 8GB.

Anyway, just blabbin’ now. Nothing really to post.
